My mum hangs these up in her garden and robins and sparrows love them. We only get crows, magpies and blackbirds in our garden so we just leave them on the ground for them to peck at. They seem to love them too. The crows have figured out that when enough suet has been pecked at it becomes light enough for them to fly away with the whole coconut which we find hilarious. Be sure to tie them down if you don't want that.
