Wooden nest boxes are a classic design and perfect in many ways for wild birds nesting in the garden. One area of weakness is the wooden entrance hole, which can be widened by predators to gain access to vulnerable chicks.

Stamped from quality copper sheeting, this durable nest box protection plate safeguards the entrance to your wooden nest box and its occupants against attack from squirrels, magpies and other predators who may try to gnaw or peck their way in.

Available for both 26mm nest box holes and 32mm nest box holes.

The 32mm size fits our Multipurpose Wooden Nest Box and our Sparrow Nest Box.
