Kibbled Maize
Kibbled maize is a palatable source of highly digestible energy, containing high levels of starch and carbohydrates it is ideal for the colder months and the busy breeding season.
Kibbled maize is much easier for small birds to digest than whole maize as it is broken into bitesize pieces, and due to the kibbling process the maize cannot grow in your garden.
Although maize is a great high energy food it is best fed sparingly in mixes for wild birds, but can be fed as as straight for chickens.
